ALL COMMUNES OF NEW CENTRAL A cold front, expected on Sunday 30th July, will bring with it possible hail and heavy rainfall. Localised flash flooding may occur. In the event of flash flooding, citizens are advised not to drive, walk or otherwise attempt to traverse floodwaters and stay tuned to a battery powered radio for weather updates.
Severe Weather Watch
ALL COMMUNES OF NEW CENTRAL AND GARDINER A strong cold front is expected to hit the New Central area on Sunday 30th July, bringing with it strong winds of up to 50km/h, possibly gusting to higher speeds, possible hail, possible electrical thunderstorm activity and rainfall. Residents are advised to remain indoors if possible during the storm, secure all loose objects outdoors, stay tuned to a battery-powered radio for weather updates and avoid using landline telephones.
