Weather warnings
Becoming a citizen of A1 can mean anything from becoming a member of government to serving in the A1 Defence Forces. Or, if you'd prefer, you don't have to involve yourself at all! This may be because you don't have the time, etc, but this is not the preferred option.

Responsibilities

As A1 does not provide the services that a macronational government would (e.g. healthcare, public transport), A1 does not charge taxes or impose anything on citizens. However, we do expect the following things:
  1. That you will abide by A1's laws
  2. That you will not commit treason or any other crime against or within A1
  3. That, in the event of you breaking an A1 law, you will follow through the independent A1 judicial system
  4. That you recognise A1's territorial claims & government

Rights

However, upon becoming a citizen, you have the right to the following things:
  1. Become a member of government
  2. Become a member of the public service
  3. Join the A1 Defence Forces
  4. Get involved with the A1 Broadcasting Commission, University of A1, or any other A1 institution
  5. 'National Unity' days

Applying

Becoming a citizen costs nothing and is quick and easy. All you have to do is pass the one (1) question citizenship 'test' (purely to weed out bots and imposters from real applicants) and then fill out the short citizenship application form. If successful (no one has ever been rejected), you will be emailed your citizenship certificate and you will then be a citizen!
